Da Monkey Man
A Monkey Man's main responsibilities to the canoe is to work the rigging and help keep the canoe and sail trim. It is a job that puts the Monkey Man at constant risk. Climbing the rigging, or surfing the ama in heavy winds is no fun and quite dangerous. The Monkey usually has to take care of the bailing to keep the canoe dry, paddle, help with the sheet line, and serve food.  The Monkey is the Utility member of the crew for which this page has been dedicated.
